Diriliş: Ertuğrul (English:The Revival OfErtugrul) is a Turkish historical adventure television seriescreated for TRT 1 by Mehmet Bozdağ and Kemal Tekden. The story ofthe series takes place in the 13th century and centers around thelife of Ertuğrul, the father of Osman I, founder of the OttomanEmpire.The series is written and directed by Mehmet Bozdağ and produced byMetin Günay. The theme music is by Alpay Göktekin. It has aired onWednesday at 7:55 p.m. since December 10, 2014 on TRT 1(Turkey).As for the choreography of the show, Nomad, the specialchoreography crew of movies such as The Expendables 2, 47 Ronin andConan the Barbarian was invited to Turkey. The crew preparedspecial choreographies for actors, horses and other scenes.There are 25 horses on the set and a veterinarian available.Besides, a horse farm was set in Riva for the show as well. Aspecial area is created here similar to a zoo but on a smallerscale not only for the horses but all the required animals sincesheep, goats, nightingales and partridges are also a part of thecast.The TV series is also a milestone in Turkey with respect to itsadministration of art. Copper and other metallic accessories areaccumulated from various parts of Turkey.[1]
